Here's the link to two new letterboxes at McLane Creek near Olympia
Washington. This place is a real delight in the early morning when all the birds
are active.
There were a pair of Canada Geese who called to a passing flock that stopped for
a visit. The whole area erupted in a calliope of sound and activity. It wasn't
possible to hear anything else during their arrival.

Encountered a School group (4 busses) second time there. The birds stayed quiet
until they left


The McLane Creek Nature Trail consists of a series of beaver ponds with trails
through surrounding coniferous forest, deciduous woods, open areas, marshes, and
swamps.
